Cada año miles de migrantes de los países latinoamericanos y del Caribe se ven obligados a dejar sus hogares y sus países de origen buscando generar nuevas oportunidades y mayores ingresos para ellos y sus familias. Estos migrantes son la fuente de los flujos monetarios que envían a sus hogares desde el exterior: aquellos que dejan su país por varios años, envían remesas de forma periódica a sus familiares Every year thousands of migrants from Latin American and Caribbean countries are forced to leave their homes and home countries seeking to generate new opportunities and greater income for themselves and their families. These migrants are the source of the monetary flows that they send to their homes from the outside: those who leave their country for several years send remittances to their relatives periodically
