El estudio se realizó en el Seguro Social Universitario de Sucre en el servicio de ecografía con un enfoque cuantitativo de tipo transversal, observacional y con descripción de las variables con una población de 43 pacientes diagnosticados con mioma uterino por ecografía en el periodo transcurrido de Junio 2016 a la fecha.
Resultados. La prevalencia del mioma uterino en mujeres de 20 a 60 años en el Seguro Social Unversitario de Sucre es de 14%, en la clasificación intramural 91%, localización en el fondo 71%, únicos con 77%, > 2 cm. 72% y entre las edades de 41 a 51 años 51%, más frecuente en multiparas 98%. The study was carried out in the University Social Security of Sucre in the ultrasound service with a quantitative approach of a transversal, observational type and with a description of the variables with a population of 43 patients diagnosed with uterine myoma by ultrasound in the period of June 2016 To the date.
Results The prevalence of the uterine fibroid in women aged 20 to 60 years in the Social Security Unversite of Sucre is 14%, intramural classification 91%, location in the fund 71%, only 77%,> 2 cm. 72% and between the ages of 41 to 51 years 51%, more frequent in multiparas 98%.
