La presente investigación tiene por objeto analizar el actual sistema electoral para la preselección y elección de magistrados del tribunal constitucional plurinacional de Bolivia (realizada mediante voto popular, previa preselección a cargo de la asamblea legislativa plurinacional), para verificar si este nuevo diseño, garantiza una efectiva independencia del tribunal constitucional plurinacional en el ejercicio del control de constitucionalidad; con el fin de fundamentar la modificación del actual sistema electoral para garantizar la independencia real efectiva de la jurisdicción constitucional con relación al poder público, quien participa en el proceso de preselección

The present research aims at analyzing the current electoral system for the pre-election and election of judges of the Plurinational Constitutional Court of Bolivia (made by popular vote, after pre-selection by the Plurinational Legislative Assembly), to verify if this new design, Effective independence of the multinational constitutional court in the exercise of constitutionality control; In order to justify the modification of the current electoral system to guarantee the actual effective independence of the constitutional jurisdiction in relation to the public power, who participates in the pre-selection process
