En 38 años de vida institucional el IPTK pudo congregar a muchas personas para desarrollar una actividad en común. El libro refleja esta trayectoria en la que concursan beneficiarios, trabajadores de la institución, dirigentes sociales y profesionales comprometidos en la sola causa como es la liberación colectiva.
En una primera parte, titulada "Orígenes", se comparten las experiencias e inquietudes personales del fundador del IPTK, se relata la historia oculta de Tomás Katari y se describe el escenario múltiple sobe el que actúa la institución.
En la segunda parte se exponen las distintas fases de la vida institucional, reflejando el periodo constitutivo, la fase de consolidación del IPTK, su etapa de expansión, así como las fases siguientes de reestructuración y renovación.
La tercera parte refleja las acciones de impacto que desarrolló el IPTK en estos 38 años.
El lado humano de tida esta historia institucional se muestra en la cuarta parte del libro, exponiendo fielmente el testimonio de quienes recibieron algún beneficio del IPTK como el de sus propios trabajadores.
En la quinta parte proporciona la información de las actividades desarrolladas bajo el principio de transparencia y franqueza.
Finalmente se sintetiza en la última parte (sexta), la posición institucional ante el proceso de cambio que actualmente vive el país.

In 38 years of institutional life the IPTK was able to gather many people to develop a common activity. The book reflects this trajectory in which beneficiaries, workers of the institution, social leaders and professionals involved in the single cause, such as collective liberation, compete.
In the first part, entitled "Origins", the experiences and personal concerns of the founder of the IPTK are shared, the hidden history of Tomás Katari is described and the multiple scenario over which the institution acts is described.
In the second part the different phases of the institutional life are exposed, reflecting the constitutive period, the consolidation phase of the IPTK, its expansion stage, as well as the following phases of restructuring and renovation.
The third part reflects the impact actions developed by the IPTK in these 38 years.
The human side of this institutional history is shown in the fourth part of the book, faithfully exposing the testimony of those who received some benefit from the IPTK as that of their own workers.
In the fifth part, it provides information on the activities carried out under the principle of transparency and openness.
Finally, in the last part (sixth), the institutional position before the process of change currently existing in the country is synthesized.
