<br/><br/> En Bolivia, existe una Ley de la República , que dispone la transferencia del Servicio del Registro Civil, emergente de un simple acuerdo político a la Corte Nacional Electoral, creándose la Dirección General del Registro Civil. La ley de transferencia Nro. 1367, en forma expresa aclara su condición de temporal.
