En Bolivia muy poco a nada se ha estudiado sobre la identificación y sobre todo la selección e talentos, más precisamente la selección de talentos en el boxeo, es por ello que abordamos esta temática que la consideramos básica para el desarrollo del boxeo en el país, con el objetivo de conocer las características más relevantes en este proceso y de esta manera siente bases a futuros estudios que puedan desarrollarse para el tema en la ciudad de Sucre y el país, teniendo como contenidos en el presente trabajo aspectos como el surgimiento de la selección de talentos, sus enfoques, fases y características más importantes que deben poseer los boxeadores en las edades de iniciación. In Bolivia very little has been studied about the identification and especially the selection and talents, more precisely the selection of talents in boxing, that is why we approach this subject that we consider basic for the development of boxing in the country, with the objective of knowing the most relevant characteristics in this process and in this way, it is based on future studies that can be developed for the subject in the city of Sucre and the country, having as contents in the present work aspects such as the emergence of the selection of talents, their focuses, phases and most important characteristics that boxers must possess in the ages of initiation.
