La presente obra tiene por finalidad analizar la eficacia judicial que ha tenido el derecho comunitario centroamericano, nacido a partir del Protocolo de Tegucigalpa, tanto en la actividad jurisdiccional de la Corte centroamericana de Justicia, como en la de los tribunales supremos nacionales los Estados miembros del SICA, incluyendo aquí a las Cortes Supremas y Salas o Tribunales o Cortes Constitucionales. En ambos casos, se ha examinado la jurisprudencia correspondiente, tratando extraer del material utilizado los principio más importantes elaborados por los tribunales. Se ha creído conveniente, antes de adentrarnos en el citado análisis, agregar una parte introductoria relativa a los principios básicos del derecho comunitario centroamericano y su respaldo constitucional a nivel interno. The purpose of this work is to analyze the judicial effectiveness of Central American community law, born out of the Tegucigalpa Protocol, both in the jurisdictional activity of the Central American Court of Justice and in that of the national supreme courts of the SICA member states, including here the Supreme Courts and Chambers or Constitutional Courts or Tribunals. In both cases, the corresponding jurisprudence has been examined, trying to extract from the material used the most important principles elaborated by the courts. Before going into this analysis, it has been deemed appropriate to add an introductory part relating to the basic principles of Central American Community law and its constitutional support at the domestic level.
