<br/><br/> Rebasando lo estrictamente biográfico este trabajo está precedido y atravesado de análisis sociológico con los enfoques marxistas clásicos, aunque no necesariamente ortodoxsos, lo cual puede ser su principal mérito al adelantarse en la confrontación con la avalancha posterior de interpretaciones etnicistas. Por otra parte, la obra esta escrita  escrita en el lenguaje marxista usual de aquellos tiempos que empleaba términos de la tradición positivista como entre otros, raza, salvajismo, barbarie, y civilización sin ninguna conotación valorativa ni menos peyorativa, por cierto.  Exceeding the strictly biographical, this work is preceded and crossed by sociological analysis with classical Marxist approaches, although not necessarily orthodox, which may be its main merit as it advances in confrontation with the subsequent avalanche of ethnicist interpretations. On the other hand, the work is written written in the usual Marxist language of those times that used terms of the positivist tradition as among others, race, savagery, barbarism, and civilization without any value or even pejorative convaluation, by the way.
