En el departamento de Chuquisaca, existen áreas rurales que pueden ser aprovechadas por la actividad turística, tal es el caso del Cantón Mojotoro que cuenta con condiciones naturales, climáticas, camineras y productivas favorables para el desarrollo de la actividad agroturística, las cuales no son aprovechadas ni integradas a la oferta turística de Chuquisaca, dicho lugar podría llenar las expectativas de un nicho de mercado amante de lo natural, capaz de atraer el interés de éste, teniendo en cuenta el desarrollo de un turismo sostenible que favorezca a la conservación de los recursos naturales
