La presente tesis consiste en una investigación de carácter documental, cuya finalidad reside en reservar la complejidad, y los límites que posee el Poder Constituyente boliviano, y con él una futura Asamblea Constituyente, tal cual se encuentra previsto en la actual Constitución Política del Estado; a efectos de contar con el referente teórico con horizonte a futuro en cuanto al fenómeno del Poder Constituyente. Los límites de una Asamblea Constituyente constituyen sin lugar a duda uno de los más trascendentales temas de estudio a la hora de elaborar un nuevo texto constitucional; tanto es así que a lo largo de la historia en repetidas ocasiones la soberanía de los pueblos se ha visto amenazada por desconocer o haberse dejado engañar por el poder político respecto a los ya mencionados límites. Para el desarrollo de la presente tesis, se han tomado en cuenta tanto las teorías constitucionales clásicas como las actuales, redoblando esfuerzos en develar de una vez por todas la pertinencia del debate en cuanto a la naturaleza originaria o derivada de una Asamblea Constituyente a efectos de establecer los límites de la misma

This thesis consists of a documentary investigation, whose purpose is to reserve the complexity, and the limits that the Bolivian Constituent Power has, and with it a future Constituent Assembly, as it is foreseen in the current Political Constitution of the State; in order to have the theoretical reference with a future horizon regarding the phenomenon of the Constituent Power. The limits of a Constituent Assembly are undoubtedly one of the most transcendental topics of study when preparing a new constitutional text; so much so that throughout history, the sovereignty of the peoples has repeatedly been threatened by not knowing or being fooled by the political power with respect to the aforementioned limits. For the development of this thesis, both classical and current constitutional theories have been taken into account, redoubling efforts to unveil once and for all the relevance of the debate regarding the original nature or derived from a Constituent Assembly for the purposes of establish the limits of it
